Jim Galvin reported 15 gifts for schools and programs totaling $8,440.40, and 33 gifts for the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf totaling $93,004.83, recommending the board accept them.
Non-renewal of Probationary Teachers

Julie Coffee, Executive Director of Human Resources, explained the Minnesota statute regarding probationary teacher contracts, which allows non-renewal for various reasons before July 1st. All teachers recommended for non-renewal had been previously notified by their principals.
Ratification of the 2025-2027 Custodial Labor Agreement

Julie Coffee presented the tentative agreement with SEIU Local 284, representing custodial and building/grounds staff. The agreement, ratified by employees, covers a two-year period with annual increases, conversion of off-schedule payments to base salary, increased longevity increments and differentials, and a higher 403b contribution, along with clarified language items.

A probationary teacher is deemed to have been reemployed for the ensuing school year unless the school board takes action to non-renew those contracts prior to July 1.
So, it covers a 2-year agreement. Um there are increases in each year of the contract. There was an uh as you know, an off-schedule payment that has now been eliminated. We moved that on to the base salary and then applied um the increases on top of that.
