[0:06] The friends of the Oval are sponsoring a [0:08] a open skate night uh encouraging people [0:11] to come over with free donuts from [0:13] Dunkin Donuts, free cocoa, and a chance [0:16] to win a variety of oval related prizes. [0:18] >> It's a great opportunity to come out and [0:20] support this great facility and a friend [0:22] of the oval supports the facility. We [0:24] help with the scoreboard up there. We [0:26] help with the lights. We help with the [0:27] netting. So, it's a good community [0:28] collaboration between the city and the [0:31] friends of the Oval. It was a team [0:32] efforts. Lucy uh she organized the [0:35] coffee and the donuts. I organized the [0:37] tablecloths, the shirts, the hats, and [0:39] then also a good partnership with Kevin [0:41] and Matt at the city to help out with [0:43] some of the logistics setting up the [0:45] space and some of the uh some of the [0:47] promotional materials as well. It's a [0:49] great facility. I mean, you can you can [0:50] do public skating, you can uh you can [0:52] learn figure skating, speed skating, [0:54] hockey, uh bandandy, inline skating in [0:57] the summer. It's just a it's a year- [0:59] round facility. The foundation has been [1:01] around for 20ome years and we're [1:04] exclusively devoted to supporting the [1:06] Oval. And so when we see the results [1:09] that our efforts uh make the lake [1:11] pleasant for people that like to skate [1:13] and get out in the fresh air, winter you [1:16] need to have outdoor activities and this [1:18] is just a perfect handy.
