[0:10] Tonight is our inaugural tree lighting. [0:13] We have Santa, Caroling from the [0:16] different schools with Edgewood Middle [0:18] School, Irondale High School, and [0:20] Mountains View High School all coming. [0:30] >> Santa will be arriving on his sleigh via [0:34] firet truck. [0:36] >> Merry Christmas. [0:40] And then we're giving away free s'mores, [0:42] hot cocoa from the Ardan project, free [0:44] hot dogs from the police foundation, [0:46] figuring out the all the logistics of [0:48] which tree to do, how tall can it be, [0:52] finding enough lights to light a tree, [0:55] finding Santa. Lots of planning goes [0:57] into an event, especially the first [0:59] year. I've been running around all week [1:01] getting Santa's cabin all set up for [1:03] him. So, yeah, it brings everybody [1:06] together. Everybody's out here smiling, [1:09] having fun. It's snowy and magical and [1:12] winter and cold, but we live in [1:14] Minnesota and it gets everybody out of [1:16] the house and happy and coming together. [1:20] It means so much. This is honestly one [1:22] of the main reasons I've been here [1:24] almost 15 years. Um, these community [1:27] events get me hyped up and excited to to [1:30] spend time with the community and see [1:33] the residents of Mountains View and come [1:35] and appreciate all that goes into what [1:38] we do year round, but have a fun [1:41] culmination event.
