[0:06] We are here at Cookies with Santa, an
[0:08] annual event that the City of Little
[0:10] Canada parks and recreation department
[0:12] puts on. We have Christmas llamas,
[0:15] cookies, hot cocoa, Elsa, and of course
[0:18] pictures with Santa. And it's a great
[0:20] family event um for families to come
[0:22] take pictures with Santa and Elsa as
[0:23] well. Yeah, our parks and recreation
[0:25] department is really the spearhead and
[0:27] champion of this event.
[0:29] This event is planned months in advance
[0:31] and we see a lot of people that come
[0:33] through the doors. We had a line here
[0:35] actually um almost starting at 12:30 for
[0:37] the event. So, we're really happy to
[0:39] offer this free program um to families
[0:41] in Little Canada. Yeah. New this year,
[0:44] we do have Elsa here to take photos
[0:46] with. And we also have uh llamas this
[0:48] year that are actually dressed in um
[0:50] holiday apparel. So, uh you can get your
[0:52] picture taken with Elsa or a holiday
[0:54] llama. It's really important especially
[0:56] uh during these times that we're able to
[0:58] provide some free opportunities to our
[1:00] families and we're really glad that um
[1:02] we're able to do that uh once again this
[1:04] year. Um everything here is free again
[1:05] thanks to our generous sponsors and we
[1:07] really love the community opportunity it
[1:09] brings for families. This is one of I
[1:12] think the most special events of the
[1:13] year as we kind of enter into the
[1:14] holiday season. Um just lots of smiling
[1:17] happy faces um you know families here
[1:19] together to really start celebrating the
[1:21] holiday season. So, it's definitely a
[1:22] special opportunity for for all of us
[1:24] from city council to city staff um to
[1:26] our parks and recreation commission
[1:27] who's also here as well. So, we're
[1:29] really thankful to be able to bring this
[1:30] opportunity to Little Canada.
