[0:03] We have the Cookies and Cocoa with Chris [0:06] Kringle, an annual event here at Cedar [0:08] Home Community Building and Golf Course. [0:11] Uh we've been running it ever since the [0:13] building opened in 2018. We've got four [0:16] or five different stations going on. [0:18] We've got, of course, the picture taking [0:20] with Chris Kringle or Santa. Lots of [0:23] coloring, garland making, arts and [0:25] crafts, ornament making, different [0:28] Christmas and holiday activities. Our [0:31] parks and recreation department and [0:32] programmers help with the event, and I'm [0:35] ultimately responsible as the golf and [0:37] facilities manager. We are not just a [0:39] golf course. We're an active event and [0:42] and meeting place for corporate [0:44] meetings, for family events. People can [0:46] rent this facility, but we also like to [0:49] highlight the community event aspects of [0:52] it as well with various golf tournaments [0:54] that are open to the public and then [0:56] also events like this, the cookies and [0:59] cocoa with Chris Kringle. Oh, it's great [1:01] for the kids. Get them out and about, [1:04] show them different fun activities that [1:06] they can have here with their parents [1:08] and get a cool picture with Santa Claus. [1:10] This is so much fun. See familiar faces. [1:13] We've got several families who come up [1:16] and tell us that they've been doing this [1:17] ever since 2018. Maybe a couple of [1:20] different age groups of their kids [1:22] who've grown up and out of the program, [1:24] but they come back year after year and [1:26] have a great time. And knowing that I [1:28] was a part of this, it's a lot of fun.
