I wanted to say I [0:11] appreciate the opportunity on me being [0:13] chosen. [0:23] >> Being able to do this for the community [0:25] is really nice and very liberating. And [0:28] it's just great to see the excitement [0:30] from the kids, the excitement from the [0:31] officers, and the support that we've [0:33] gotten from the community is absolutely [0:35] amazing. I can't even It's It's been [0:37] overwhelming how many people have come [0:38] in, dropped off money, have dropped off [0:41] other uh support for for the program. [0:44] So, we're just really excited to be here [0:46] tonight. I decided to go with some [0:48] household stuff, you know, um things for [0:50] my room. I just moved in, so I just [0:53] wanted to, you know, it's a new area, [0:55] new space. I wanted to make it feel like [0:57] my own. I put on here, I put some rugs [1:00] and stuff, some posters, things of that [1:02] nature, stuff like that, household [1:03] stuff. I'm going for mostly cheap items, [1:06] but I'm going to try to do one expensive [1:07] one, though. I'll see what I can find, [1:09] though. We'll see. [1:12] To me, policing is a community service [1:16] and something we should provide and give [1:18] back. And it's a great way to just [1:21] connect with the Roseville community and [1:25] be with families and kind of [1:27] >> show the other side of policing.
