[0:02] Okay. So, here we have our first meal of
[0:06] the day.
[0:06] >> The Roseville School District started uh
[0:09] delivering meals in 1971. Um at that
[0:11] time it was called homed delivered
[0:13] meals.
[0:15] And so it's been almost what 54 years
[0:19] now that the Roseville School District
[0:21] has been serving meals to the seniors
[0:24] and adults with disabilities in the
[0:26] community.
[0:29] So just in a one-year time, we we served
[0:32] 5,324
[0:34] more meals, you know, than the previous
[0:37] year. And we keep seeing those numbers
[0:40] increase, you know, every year.
[0:42] >> 9 10 11 and then
[0:44] >> um there is a huge need for for meals
[0:48] for the seniors and adults with
[0:50] disabilities in our community. And so um
[0:53] it's not a need that I see going away.
[0:57] We could not do it without our
[0:59] volunteers. We work with um over 400
[1:03] volunteers on a kind of on a monthly
[1:05] basis. We have so many wonderful
[1:08] volunteers. Um many of them have been
[1:10] here long term.
[1:18] Well, one thing I I kind of enjoy about
[1:22] today is that um it is a route that I'm
[1:25] familiar with. So, I know the people and
[1:28] fun to talk with them. Well, it's good
[1:30] to see you.
[1:31] >> The the clients um working with them and
[1:35] getting to know them and talking with
[1:36] them. They're all so so very
[1:40] appreciative and thankful.
[1:43] >> I've never had a Krabby person um who
[1:45] I've handed a lunch and uh I I think
[1:49] that's amazing that you think there'd be
[1:51] some some reason in their life they
[1:53] might be crabby, but never when when
[1:54] I've shown up. So, uh, I like that.
[1:58] >> But otherwise, they're all really
[1:59] delicious. And I especially appreciate
[2:02] the volunteers who bring in
