Question one is an increase in our operating levy to maintain class sizes, protect essential student programs, retain highquality staff, and an opportunity to strengthen elementary arts experiences.

If question one were to pass, the average tax increase to a homeowner of a $300,000 home would be $22 per month, or just around 75 cents per day.

Question two is a capital projects levy to maintain critical security systems, reliable networks, classware hardware and software and technology staff.

If question one does not pass without the additional revenue, the district will need to make further reductions to staff and essential student programs.

If question two does not pass, we will continue to invest in essential technology for safety and learning. However, without a dedicated capital projects levy, these costs will come from the general fund, resulting in further staff and programming cuts.

Early voting begins on September 19th, and polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 4th.
