EDA Bylaws Update to Quarterly Meetings
Moved by Vice President Matthews [~0:18:25] · Seconded by Member Brire [~0:18:35]
City staff requested to change EDA meetings from monthly to quarterly, with proposed dates of the second Tuesday in March, June, September, and December. The discussion also covered the flexibility of calling special meetings with a minimum three-day notice for urgent matters, such as CEDA engagement or the facade project. Members confirmed the proposed quarterly schedule would work, with assurance that special meetings could be called if needed earlier than scheduled dates.
Notable Quotes (3)
there was a request made to City staff to update the Eda bylaws to move from monthly meetings to quarterly meetings
the Eda can call a special meeting for at any time for any reason... the minimum is three days for public notice
especially if the RF if if this is going to be done at the end of December it probably makes sense for us to meet early in the year
