Evidence of Performance 2: The superintendent will lead the process to implement and monitor the district's Statutory Operating Debt (SOD) plan, allocating administrative time to monitoring fiscal metrics and delivering data-driven recommendation adjustments to the school board to permanently improve the district's financial position. A balanced budget will be created through data-informed administrative recommendations and board direction on needed reductions. Additional evidence of goal attainment will include a board approved ## Statutory Operating Debt Plan submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education by January 21, 2027. Per the SOD plan submitted in 2026, the year end UNRESERVED fund balance will go from $9.60M deficit to $7.47M deficit for FY27. If projections hold true we would reduce another $2.03M for FY 2028 to have our UNRESERVED fund balance become $6.73M.
