Um, [0:07] these two little courts are just located [0:09] in the district that I have the [0:10] privilege of serving, but they're a part [0:12] of the cultural fabric of our community. [0:14] I know how powerful it is to have spaces [0:17] who reflect who we are. So, these [0:19] renovated courts um, and with their new [0:22] play areas, lighting, and gathering [0:24] spaces are more than just physical [0:26] updates. They are a clear message that [0:29] cultural practices matter, that heritage [0:32] is worth investing in, and that our [0:34] parks can be a place of in identity and [0:37] pride. And to all Ramsey County [0:39] residents, I invite you to come play, [0:42] come learn, and come connect with one [0:44] another here at Keller Regional Park. [0:46] >> And the funding wouldn't have been [0:47] possible without several partners as [0:49] well. We had an equity grant from the [0:52] Metropolitan Council. We had uh funding [0:55] from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural [0:56] Heritage uh legacy amendment fund and [0:59] then the Legacy Fund Parks and Trails [1:02] paid for this. So, this is a $3 million [1:04] project that we were able to secure all [1:06] that funding to create this beautiful [1:08] facility through those funds. [1:10] >> I believe you continue to support the [1:13] Tulu, it will become a formal sport into [1:17] the United States, not just St. Paul or [1:21] Minnesota. Without your supporting and [1:25] your sponsorship, we will have the [1:27] greatest of today. [1:30] >> Each nation had their own heritage [1:33] creating for themselves. In 20 years [1:35] from now, there will come to a point [1:37] where they will be the last Mong SU [1:40] veteran. In 20 years from that, they [1:42] will be the last M refugee. So, there [1:45] will be no more of us. But the future [1:47] generation will uphold the constitution, [1:50] the dignity, uh the culture and the [1:54] sport and the recreation that they have [1:56] here. [1:58] [Music] [2:01] [Applause]
