Either [0:06] they learning from the case manager, [0:07] they learn from the therapist, we help [0:09] them step by step how to manage their [0:12] mental health. [0:13] [Music] [0:16] My name is Ethel Arisa. I'm a mental [0:20] health case manager. I work with [0:22] individual who are diagnosed with [0:24] serious and persistent mental illness. [0:28] I was a lawyer when I came to this [0:30] country. They told me I have to go to [0:32] law school here too. But when I [0:34] finished, I wasn't impressed with the [0:36] way stress lawyers are going through. So [0:39] I started doing immigration law. I was [0:41] working with immigrants. Then I found [0:44] out that they're struggling with mental [0:46] health and I felt bad. I'm the kind of [0:49] person I like to fight for people. You [0:52] know, it's just my calling. So that's [0:54] how I found out that this is what I [0:57] should be doing. Most of our clients, [1:00] you know, when they come to you, they [1:01] don't have anybody treating them. Maybe [1:04] they don't understand what they're going [1:05] through. But I always tell them there is [1:08] hope. There's medication. Have people to [1:11] talk to. Don't be alone.
