I guess I was a little bit surprised to see that Parkland was going to be used for that and it just made me feel motivated to get more involved and you know have more understanding of how those decisions are made.
My background educationally I've got a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering from Iowa State... 35 plus years under my belt developing around the country.
Every in my opinion every land use decision then becomes really quite important because this is uh something that we hold together for our community and we must try to make the best informed decisions and just do the best we can to balance different um calls Upon Our Land.
There's a mission there's a plan there's aspirations and the um the Planning Commission in particular has an important role... in directing the progress towards Meeting those goals and aspirations and also the pace.
