[Applause] we're here today celebrating uh the moment I've been looking forward to all year which is the launch of our new mobile Library vehicle it's exactly what you think it is it's a mobile library that has stops throughout the city and in particular we're trying to get folks who are farther distance from the library or who have other barriers that uh don't allow us to come to our 13 locations we have activities and games and of course we have books and of course we have DVDs we also have uh internet connection and we have a digital Navigator who can help residents get connected stay connected and learn how to use those technology connections that are so important to us it needed to feel like you could see it moving you know around your neighborhood and know what you were going to be able to access when you stepped inside so really that's what we did um we wanted to make it super inviting um and make you feel like you could explore the outside as much as you can you know explore when you get on the inside it's been a long wait and I'm just excited to get it on the road and show it to all our patrons we have a lot of patrons who use us and have been missing our vehicle not being able to bring a collection that they can browse we also have a new wheelchair lift which is really exciting for our patrons with mobility issues I'm excited to go back to schools and see all the kids get really excited about the books that they get from us
