The Belle Plaine City Council met for a Drone Demonstration on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 4:32 PM at the Fire Department 700 East Main Street, Belle Plaine, MN. Councilmembers Brady Hartmann, Shane Theas, Luke Otto and James Evans were present. Councilmember Rex Stacey was absent. Also present were Police Sergeant Brian Vycital, Police Sergeant Sterling Cayer, and Police Officer Hunter Eschenbach. ## 2. DRONE DEMONSTRATION. Sergeant Cayer and Officer Eschenbach provided a demonstration of the drone's capabilities. Council members had the opportunity to ask questions about the drone's functions, capabilities, and potential use in various scenarios. ## 3. ADJOURN.
