The consent agendas for those items that are considered routine are non-controversial. They're placed all together on the consent agenda. And so unless the mayor or council member asks for an item to be removed for separate consideration, they're all approved under a single motion, second, and a vote.

I'd like to start with um the Shakami metadata sue community for your generosity uh focused in and on the public safety of our community. I'd also like to uh thank Chula's restaurant um who um has not yet opened their wonderful doors at their new um restaurant and yet um they have gifted mightily um into our Chalkfest and I want to thank Chulas for that. And uh finally, I'd like to thank Pinnacle Homes um for their generous contribution to another one of our recreational activities, our coin carnival.

So, what is an AUR? It's an alternative urban areawide review. It's an environmental review document that state statute outlines the process for and this is used when there is no individual specific project known um to guide the planning and zoning and infrastructure decisions of the city of Prairie Lake.

So with the metropolitan council upgrading the city's uh minimum lot requirement. So currently we are required to develop at a minimum of three units per acre overall as a city that is going to be increased to three and a half units per acre in the 2050 comprehensive plan cycle.

So, part of the AUR by studying this entire area that um negates the need for a developer to do an environmental assessment worksheet which is a six to eightmonth process for them and usually costs somewhere between 70 and $100,000 for this document to um do basically the same thing the AU is telling us.

You know, Prior Lake is committed to, um, continuing to develop this area on behalf of the land owners. And we continue to make these investments so that we we can get more development and we can get more commercial development in this area because we're we're running out here in Prior Lake.
