Each candidate was thoughtful in their responses, had a passion for leadership and a genuine commitment to representing their peers and the greater fac.
The first moment when she stepped into that room, I could tell she had a passion and not just her personal connections to school boards. She was very intrinsically motivated and she knew what she wanted of the role.
The regular education increase would be 5%. Um at the first year for 2627 we are reducing from 171 days to 167 days which reduces that 5% to 2.54%.
The fuel clause the district shared a 70% 30% cost sharing with Palmer. We increased the threshold of biodeiesel to $3 and then kept gas at 250. Uh Palmer does buy it in bulk.
These teachers that you have on this list are probationary teachers which means they're either in their first, second or third year with our school district. They're still probationary status under uh Minnesota statute. So we uh our supervisors evaluate um the staff at that at the conclusion near the end of the school year determine whether they're going to renew people.
We certainly welcome, you know, their honest feedback, constructive criticism, and suggestions on the the best ways to continue to improve our school district's service to our American Indian students and their families.
I'm stating that we wholeheartedly agree uh that the Indian education staff should not be expected to produce carry or sustain the work in terms of uh learning about uh you know American Indian culture and history.
