[0:02] Welcome back to Courtney in the morning. [0:05] Did you know that our summer carnival is [0:07] happening this Friday, August 1st, from [0:09] 10 to 12? [0:09] >> Oh, it's going to be so much fun. It's [0:11] happening at Lions Park over that way [0:14] past Venture. And it's going to be $5 [0:17] per child, cash only, no registration. [0:20] So, bring your kids, bring your cash. [0:22] It's going to be so much fun. [0:24] >> Did you know that some people think that [0:26] carnival games are rigged? [0:28] >> Really? [0:28] >> Yeah, I know. H I actually think they're [0:30] very rigged. [0:30] >> I think we should probably prove that [0:32] ours aren't rigged by testing me down in [0:33] the lab. [0:34] >> Absolutely. I think we should go down [0:35] and test them. [0:36] >> Great. Why don't you come with us? [0:37] >> Okay, let's go. [0:39] >> Courtney and Mason head down to the log [0:41] cabin lab to test whether carnival games [0:44] at this year's summer carnival are [0:46] rigged or not. They're joined by their [0:49] intrepid intern, Ryan. First, Courtney [0:52] sees if clapping before playing the Go [0:55] Fish game gets her extra prizes. [1:06] Looks like that's one prize for [1:07] clapping. [1:09] Next, Courtney tests if doing a little [1:12] dance helps net some extra loot. [1:20] [Music] [1:22] Still just one prize. [1:27] Mason tests whether doing a double dip [1:30] results in double the prizes. [1:33] [Music] [1:37] That's one prize for a double dip. [1:42] Finally, Mason sees if wiggling the [1:44] bucket wrangles up some extra stuff. [1:48] Still just one prize per play. This myth [1:51] that carnival games are rigged at [1:52] Shockpiece Summer Carnival isn't looking [1:55] good. [1:57] So after some thorough scientific [1:58] investigation, it turns out that the [2:00] myth is busted and carnival games are [2:03] not rigged. At least the one's here. [2:05] >> And we got a bunch of prizes. So that's [2:06] fun. [2:07] >> Yeah. No matter what you do, you still [2:08] got the same amount of prizes. [2:09] >> That's amazing. [2:10] >> Yeah. So that means that [2:13] I won and I get to use that for the [2:16] registration on August 1st from 10 to 12 [2:18] >> cuz it was busted. [2:19] >> It was busted. [2:20] >> So we'll see you August 1st, 10 to 12 at [2:24] Lions Park for the summer carnival. [2:26] Bring your cash and bring all the fun. [2:29] It's going to be a great time.
