Sand Hill Park Site Prep Funding Approval

Due to the retirement of Scott Lee, the lead city attorney, and his firm's decision to exit the public service market, the city needs to solicit new legal services. An RFP, based on league templates, will be published tomorrow with a September 21st deadline for submissions. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the week of October 19th, with a new firm to be selected by December for a January 1st start.

These doors were originally placed there with the thought process of hosting weddings in our gym space and then using that as another extension of the wedding space for decoration and being able to go in and out through those four doors.
We got three bids and we're opting to go with H Heartland Gland Hartland Glass to do the doors and windows and the cost would be $8,227.78.
The city received a uh application for tax increment financing uh for the project adjacent to Luan. Uh you may recall uh we received one previously from another developer uh for this project. The that lead developer has stepped aside and the subdeveloper for that prior project is now assuming overall responsibility for the project and the scope of the project has changed.
The council is not approving uh tiff approval. It is just approving the use of the funds to do the analysis by Northland.
Mayor Cobang and city council members uh received a letter uh late last week from Scott Lee, who has been the lead city attorney for a number of years, announcing that he is retiring at the end of the year. uh they've also had some internal changes uh at the firm and so they the firm itself has made the decision to exit the public service uh market.
