Norenewalrateshavebeenreceivedbutsomebenefitsdidhavea capon theincreases. Healthinsurancewasbasedontheplansemployeeshavechosenin thepast ratherthana blanket 15% increase. ## The change in the levy is 2. 41%, whichhasnotfactoredin taxablemarketvalueasthathasnotbeenreceivedfromthecounty. Franzexplainedthatsome of thefeescollectedasbuildingpermitshasincreaseddrasticallybutexpenseshavealsowith thecontractedservices. MarkEbensteinerexplainedhowsomerevenuesarea passthrubut stillneedtobeidentifiedin thebudget. Healsoexplainedtheexpenditurebudgetsfor Mayor/CouncilandFinance. Thereis littlechangein eachof these. Mortensonpresentedthe CityHallbudgetwhichsawa slightreductionattributedto thebuildingremodeland replacementofitems. JacobSandersexplainedthePlanningandBuildingInspection expenditures. Planninghada slightincreasedueto wageincreasesin 2027. Thebuilding inspectionexpenditureschangedduetocontractingratherthanhiringaninspector. Chief Lindbloomcoveredthepoliceexpenditures, whichis increasingdueto somecontracts increasingandtheimplementationof thesergeantposition. ChrisLissonwentoverthepublic works, streetsandparksexpenditures. TheSCOREfundinghasbeenreducedasthecounty doesthegrinding. Theparksexpenseshaveincreasedwithmoreirrigationsystems, portapottiesandgeneralmaintenance. Therehasbeena lotof timeandmoneyputintothe BACandit is gettingmanypositivecomments. BrandiiThomaswentthroughtheBCCbudget withcouncil. Thecombiningof positionsprovidedcostsavings. TheBeckerclothinglineis well receivedas arerentalsto bringin morerevenue. AdventureZoneprogramscontinueto grow; rateshavebeenincreasedto comparewithareaprograms. Themaintenanceof theBCCusually involvesbigticketitemslistedintheCIP. JacobSandersreviewedtheEDAbudgetasthiswill seesomechangeswithouta director/coordinatorinplace. AnAUARandanEAWneedtobe completed in 2027which contributes tothe 19% increase. ## MarkEbensteinerreviewedthecurrentandprojectedbondlevies. Thecitydoesn't holdmuch debtfora communityofitssize. Therewasthestreetimprovementbondissuedin2021and thebuildingrenovationbondin 2024. Therewerenofurtherquestionsaboutthebudget.
