Al to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liy and justice for all thank you all all had our packet for a couple of days had a chance to take a look at the regular agenda which is very short t tonight do I have a motion to approve agenda I'll make the motion thank you Ben second second John hi hi hi hi hi uh consent agenda we've had a few days to go through our bill list and Associated items do I have a motion to approve the consent agenda please so move Mr Geer second Mr cornette hi counc member hi Council M hi council member hi mayor hi uh going to skip over staff agenda items tonight as I say this is a pretty quick meeting here tonight we have no action items for our staff tonight so we're going to launch right into new business first up is a consideration of designating designation of American Rescue act Aid this was Aid that was given to us by the federal government as I understand and we do have to designate how those funds will be spent in a broad category Kim would you like to talk about that at all or not okay real good then we had a discussion at a work meeting before and I am thinking we may have a consensus here Mr Geer uh you need a motion I do I would uh move that we spend the $245,200 left in our budget to go towards uh Broadband all right so broadband and we have a second from Tom council member car hi council member hi council member hi council member corette hi mayber hi thank you and that uh that is going to help the rest of our citizens get access to broadband which out here is incredibly important so many of us work from home that no access to it is a real hardship frankly in this day and age uh second consideration of the wcd agreement uh you gentlemen may remember this this is our agreement with the Watershed districts in order to handle the advertising and production of educational materials for our ms4 permit which we are uh mandated to do they've handled this for us for many many years they're set up for it they know all the uh the rules on the ms4 uh so it's a pretty good deal for us to have them do that so any questions or concerns on this gentlemen nope I'll still move okay second thank you all right council member hi counc member hi counc hi hi thanks Kim doesn't look like we have any unfinished business go right into discussion items Kim any staff updates uh I will just note that the November meeting is November 4th due to the general election on November 5th I getting those dates right I don't y yeah yeah okay it's got to be uh the regular November city council meeting will be held Monday night yeah that one always throws me all right real good city council reports future gen items anything you guys would like to talk about uh on future agendas gentlemen nothing this is going to be fast I think we're going to set a record John it's your turn for the community calendar if I'm not mistaken Sure Mia Public Schools board meeting Thursday October 10th and October 24th midai district education center at 700 p.m. Stillwater Public Schools board meeting Thursday October 10th Stillwater City Hall at 7 p.m. and Washington County Commissioners meeting Tuesdays in the government center at 9:00 a.m. and happy Halloween Thursday October 31st there you go note uh this may seem like a a bit of a waste of a meaning but we had no choice but to allocate the funds uh for the American Rescue act we had to get a done uh that's essentially the reason why we're here tonight um to uh to get that passed and again don't forget next month Monday 2026 to use those so yeah until 2026 so yeah we're in good session or in good uh good shape Pardon Me session stuck in my head can I have a motion to adjourn please motion to adjourn second second oh you second mayor second okay second all right now you get that I just said second okay I'll say I I don't want that hi home to Spaghetti goodbye oh nice goodbye
