Staff presented the minor subdivision application to reconfigure nine existing parcels into two at the former fire station and parks buildings (3510 Lever). The approximately one-acre site is zoned for village mixed use. The proposal was found consistent with the comp plan, future land use map, and VMX zoning district standards, and requires no new infrastructure. Agency reviews by Public Works, Fire, and DNR yielded no comments. The city engineer recommended minor adjustments to right-of-way and easement areas, which were satisfied. The city attorney provided a plat opinion with revisions, which became a condition of approval. A permit from the Valley Branch Watershed District was also obtained. No public comments were received during the public hearing process. Commissioners supported the motion, noting the sense it made to consolidate parcels and the improvements it brought to the area.

Cleaning up the property lines by a minor subdivision uh is the next step in that process.
I don't know in the years that I've sat on this commission that there's been something that makes more sense than taking nine parcels into two.
Yeah, I like how it's cleaned up. Uh, opening up the rightway again, the the alley and the street and the sidewalks. Yeah, it's it's really nice and clean. I'm looking forward to it.
