[0:19] Good evening everybody. My name is Mr.
[0:21] Borski. I am the choir director here at
[0:23] Tartan High School. It's a pleasure to
[0:25] see all of you and we're really happy
[0:27] and excited to share our music with you
[0:29] tonight. Our concert theme is the Ark of
[0:32] Life. As you listen to each set of
[0:35] songs, both by Titan Choir and Concert
[0:38] Choir as well, you'll notice texts that
[0:41] reflect and are representative of our
[0:43] life's journey as human beings. So the
[0:47] first song in each set will be
[0:49] reflective of childhood and looking at
[0:51] the world through the eyes of a child
[0:53] with a sense of awe and wonderment. As
[0:56] we move through the sets, we'll sing
[0:59] texts that um well kind of discuss all
[1:03] sorts of challenges in life, growing,
[1:06] learning new things, overcoming
[1:08] obstacles, all those things we encounter
[1:11] as we grow and grow and mature
[1:13] throughout our lifetime. And then
[1:15] finally, the last song in each set will
[1:17] be more reflective in nature, learning
[1:19] to let go, say goodbye to loved ones,
[1:22] and looking back over all the years
[1:42] on a cold winter.
[1:46] on every branch of every tree and icicle
[1:51] and
[1:53] I looked out on a vision that no one
[1:58] else could see. A garden full of bicles
[2:03] growing just for me.
[2:07] Winter's
[2:09] beauty
[2:10] takes my breath away.
[2:14] Mirales unfolding
[2:16] on a cold win
[2:35] from the soft twilight glow. I looked
[2:40] out on a vision as no one else could see
[2:49] shining down on me.
[2:53] Winter's
[2:55] beauty
[2:56] firing
[3:03] on a cold win night.

[15:08] was following me. I was following me. I
[15:12] was following
[15:15] me. I was following me. I was following
[15:19] me. I was following me. I was following.
[15:23] I was following the pack. all swallowed
[15:27] in their coats with scarves of red tied
[15:30] around their throats to keep their
[15:33] little heads from falling in the snow.
[15:36] And I
[15:40] would fall and turn
[16:18] I was following the pack all swallowed
[16:21] in their coats.
[16:22] with scarves
[16:28] from
[16:32] there.
[16:34] And Michael, you would fall and turn
[16:40] in the summer.
[17:10] I was following the pack. All swallowed
[17:13] in their coats with scars of red tide
[17:16] round their throats to keep their little
[17:19] heads from falling in the snow. And I
[17:22] turned and there you go. And you would
[17:26] fall and turn
[17:29] red.
[17:51] I'm sure many of you know this from
[17:53] social media and other um various ways,
[17:56] words of mouth or whatever the case may
[17:58] be. But excuse me, it gives me a great
[18:02] honor to share with all of you that
[18:04] recently I was given the very humbling
[18:08] and rewarding experience of receiving
[18:11] coral director of the year in creative
[18:12] programming by ACDA of Minnesota. So
[18:15] that's a huge honor.
[18:26] That award is given to one director
[18:28] statewide every year. So here we're
[18:31] representing at Tartan High School.
[18:39] And that award would not be possible. I
[18:42] would not have that in my office right
[18:44] now if it weren't for all the amazing
[18:46] work that the students in concert choir
[18:48] um have been doing. So how about a round
[18:51] of applause for these amazing students?
[18:54] Great job.
[19:03] All right, enough bragging. We'll get
[19:05] right back to singing for all of you.
[19:07] That's why you're here to hear us sing,
[19:09] right? So, we'll go to our next song,
[19:11] which is um Sing My Child by Sarah
[19:15] Quartell.
[19:17] Sing
[19:23] for the hope in a new day.
[19:28] All around is beauty bright.
[19:34] in the morning and sing my child. Sing

[19:45] new morning. Sing for the
