Agenda 1.0 Call to Order: Roll Call 2.0 Pledge of Allegiance 3.0 Approval of Agenda 4.0 Comments to the Board: At this time, individuals may speak to the School Board on any item relating to South Washington County Schools. The Board will not respond to or discuss your comments. Character abuse or specific complaints identifying staff, students or task force members will not be permitted. The Superintendent may be asked to prepare a response to your concerns. The comments to the board period will be held open for up to thirty (30) minutes in total. Each speaker is permitted to speak for up to three (3) minutes in total. The School Board will allow up to three (3) speakers per topic. At three minutes, the microphone will be turned off and we will move on to the next speaker or next agenda item. 5.0 Student Highlights 5.1 Student District Ambassadors Julie Nielsen, Superintendent 5.2 National Merit Scholarship Recipients & Presidential Scholars Kelly Jansen, Assistant Superintendent 6.0 Consent Items: All consent items are considered routine and non-controversial by the School Board and will be approved by a single motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items. We do have one person signed up tonight and that is Jerome Kustri. Student highlights 5.1 is dis student district ambassadors and that will be introduced by Julie Nielson, superintendent. Thank you. I don't know what was more exciting having all of our kids here this afternoon or having these three uh young ladies up here um to share some comments with the board. Uh from the first day we met back in uh September and October, uh I know the girls would say we were all really quiet. We didn't talk to each other. And now one of the biggest highlights as we concluded our time with our student ambassadors this year were just really all the connections and the relationships that our students have made. Um that along with just the opportunity to lead and to have a voice. So tonight we have with us three students, two elementary and one middle school. And so, um, in true fashion, I'm going to do some asking of questions for our elementary students. I just want you to know that this group of three is so prepared. They really could do it on their own, but they just need a little support yet. And that's okay. Um, I also did share with them that when we have conversations, um, I know it's natural, uh, to wonder why aren't the kids looking out at the audience, but we really want them talking to the board members. So, if you don't see your child making eye contact with you, just know that they're really talking to board members. All right. So, to start out with, um, Juliana, do you want to go ahead and introduce yourself and share what school you go to?
