[4:56] welcome this evening joan roll call please dr here dr hawker here dr here [5:04] here dr parker here sherman here great let's stand for [5:12] the pledge of allegiance i pledge algiance to the flag of the [5:18] United States of America and to the republic for which it stands one nation [5:24] under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all [5:31] right moving on to our next item the approval of tonight's agenda i'll go ahead and make a motion to approve [5:38] tonight's agenda can I get a second second director Theelander with the second all those in favor raise your [5:44] hand and say I i i opposed motion passes [5:50] sorry with my voice tonight all right we move on to the consent agenda which is up on the [5:57] screen items A through F is there a motion to approve i'll move to approve [6:02] great director Hawker with the motion to approve second great director Theelander with the second all those in favor of [6:09] approving tonight's consent agenda raise your hand and say I i i opposed motion [6:16] passes six to zero and our first item tonight under the strategic direction of [6:22] develop strong partnerships with the communities we serve we are going to have a report for a proposed site and [6:28] preservation and historical marker and we have a speaker [6:34] Bob Cronin thank you [6:41] welcome Bob thanks for coming out tonight [6:48] thank you um so uh I guess as you said my name is Bob Croning and um while I'm [6:55] currently not a resident of Still Water uh my family has been for a very long time especially on my mom's side um [7:02] joining me to my right here is Aaron Issacs who is the executive director of the Minnesota Street Car Museum and he's [7:09] been very helpful along with Brent Peterson who couldn't be here tonight from the Washington County Historical Society had a lot of help in putting [7:14] together uh what you're going to see here and what you may have already taken a look at um just a little background u [7:21] before I get into Outlot H which is kind of an exciting name for the for this parcel of land um uh last summer um I [7:30] reached out to Mike Pina and uh mentioned that the family had a [7:35] long-standing interest in uh donating um some property uh kind of the last of [7:42] what remains of the of the farm uh to a um uh a nonprofit uh it's currently [7:50] designated as green space and um uh the [7:55] family would really like to make sure that it is maintained as that in perpetuity right so that's kind of the [8:00] inspiration so I re reached out to Mike and talked to him about this idea of a [8:05] historical site preservation and marker idea and we talked a couple times and um [8:11] after some conversations he suggested that I meet with the council the city council which I did and I presented a [8:18] variation of what we're going to look at here tonight to the council and got a lot of good feedback but in general they [8:24] were very um excited about the uh opportunity and so they…
