[5:46] let's stand for the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge aliance to the flag
[5:52] of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one
[5:57] nation under God indiv visible with libery and justice for
[6:06] all I will go ahead and make a motion to approve tonight's agenda can I get a
[6:11] second so moved great we'll go with Dr kelzenberg on the second all those in favor of approving the agenda raise your
[6:17] hand and say I I I I agenda approved unanimously moving on to the consent
[6:25] agenda it's up on the screen for those watching at home items a through
[6:30] e is there a motion to approve tonight's consent great director low with the

[6:52] about our district handbook need to take action on that this evening
[7:00] hi good evening good evening I'm Dr Funk board chair Sherman and members of the board um every fall we are required to
[7:06] inform parents about the district policies and required notices as well as the rights and responsibilities of
[7:11] students and Guardians all this information is included in the District student handbook the handbook is
[7:16] published electronically and can be found on the district's website families are expected to review the handbook each year and complete a signoff form in
[7:23] power school and this year's handbook has been updated to reflect changes in legislation or District policies and the
[7:30] it contains summaries of important policies with links for families to view um families will be receiving multiple
[7:35] Communications from their child's school as well as in District Communications directing them to the online handbook and required signoff form so at this
[7:43] time I'll just be asking for your approval of the District student handbook any questions comments any
[7:51] changes that you would like to highlight of note in specifically I guess other than the legislative which we all are
[7:57] aware of here yeah there's really not I mean much of it is just just updating the policies that you've been updating throughout the year so making sure that
[8:02] links are working and that all the information is up to date um but there haven't been any dramatic changes to this year's
[8:08] handbook so if we change something like cell phone policy at some point during
[8:14] the school year which we're mandated to do by law then will be will that be
[8:19] reflected in the handbook or will the board have to …
