We've extended that a couple months only because we're waiting on our fancy new badge as they so we have them here. They're ready to take them on. Uh as a tradition here, we've always had um any officer receive a brand new badge and they get to have that for the rest of their career. This, uh, uh, mayor or excuse me, I guess council members, uh, we have a fire advisory meeting, uh, this coming Monday, uh, I believe at 6:00 p.m. Council member Ro, uh, I attended the CVB meeting two weeks ago, but Kelly was here the night before, so we're pretty much updated on that. And then I attended the uh Valley Access meeting last night and um they're looking at ways to try and u market their abilities that they have to businesses and that around town so that uh to help supplement the income that they get from the franchise fees. That's it. All right. Seat administrator. Yep. Good evening, council members. Uh just a quick update on our uh lookout uh water main break. Uh as you're all aware, we're working through that right now. We've got um the temporary water services established for the nine homes. Uh we are also in communication with the construction contractor. Uh they are mobilizing. So we anticipate that construction to start this week. Uh certainly I'll continue to keep you apprised and updated of of the status with that. Thank you. Please, Chief. Good evening, council. Uh, just a quick reminder, this Saturday at city hall, we'll have our prescription drug takeback event. That's from 10 to 2. We'll have a couple officers out front here. And, uh, hopefully we get a good turnout. We did advertise that over at the uh, Botwells and Oak Park seeming living as well, and we'll repost it here on the city's pages uh, social media again. First, we'll start with our recycling award winner, Jeff Anderson at 1422457th Street North, who was chosen as your most recent recycling award winner. U second item I have to report is we have cleanup day coming Saturday, May 17th. It'll be from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the Anderson Corporation Southwest parking lot. We're asking residents to please enter off of Ozgood Avenue and we will be accepting general household waste, large bulky items, construction material, and brush. We will not be accepting electronics, appliances, mattresses, or hazardous waste. Washington County is hosting their hazardous waste collection uh 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Lily Lake on May 31st, and we will direct residents there if they do show up with hazardous waste and hand out some flyers on behalf of the the county. Um, third item, party in the park, Thursday, June 5th, 4:30 to 6:30 at Brekie Park. And postcards will be going out to residents to announce that next month. We're gearing up to have a very fun event, hopefully good weather. Um, lastly, the um city is offering a contest for tree seedlings um for Arbor Day and deadline for entry for that contest is today. However, we will extend it through the end of the week. The um entry forms can be found on the city's Facebook page or in the city newsletter that was mailed out earlier this month. Thank you. Um, so a couple things I've noticed. We're right by that overpass over 36 and there's been some kind of um protests there. The first time it was fine. There was a lot of people. Um, the second time there were people in the street and they defaced the bridge. They put stickers up and graffitied on it. So, I'm just wondering about having like an officer come by every once in a while to take a look. Right. Thank you. Okay. Then we will move on to the cassette agenda. Um approval of bills and investments checks number 71,663 to 71,77. Approval of the city council work session notes from April 8th. Approval of the city council minutes from April 8th. Approval of the special city council minutes from April 15th. Approve ordinance amendment 2025-203-01 repealing chapter 203 of the city code. I'll move the consent agenda as presented. Second. What we'll do is um have a motion from the council to go into close session and then from the close session uh we will then adjourn and I'll I can certainly do a quick um announcement of the reasons and and basis for holding a close session tonight if you're ready to do that. And just so we specify in the open record here, the basis for going into close session is under Minnesota statutes 13D.05, subdivision 3C, which allows for going into close session in particular to talk about offers and counter offers for purchase of property including real estate. And the matter uh on for the close session tonight is an issue of sale potential sale of real property owned by the city of Oak Park Heights. The statutes do require us to particularly identify that property on the record. Um it is and we have discussed this at prior council meetings, but I'll announce it again here tonight. We are uh going into close session to talk about a small vacant parcel of city-owned property um on Penrose Avenue at the corner of Penrose and 56th Street North. Um it does not have a property address affiliated with it, but it's a parcel next door to 5653 Penrose Avenue. Uh the county tax ID number is 03.029.20.24003. 24.0038. And so we'll go into close session to discuss that parcel and some offers that the city has received potentially to sell that parcel. The intent would be then to adjourn at the end of the close session while we're still in close session and we will come back at the next council meeting and provide any sort of summary of that meeting. Uh there were not intended to be any action on the particular item during close session. If there's going to be any action on the item, it will occur at the next open session. Okay.
