These bonds will fund three categories: $1.4 million for improvement bonds (2026 street reconstruction), $11.8 million for sales tax revenue bonds (police department expansion), and $6.8 million for capital improvement bonds (City Hall remodel). The resolution also establishes a pricing committee, consisting of the City Administrator and Finance Director, authorized to award the sale under specific parameters, including a maximum par amount of $20 million, a maximum true interest cost of 4.75%, and a final maturity date of February 1st, 2039. The bond sale is proposed for August 13th.
