[0:04] [Music] Welcome back to the Monday Morning  Minute for March 3rd! Let's get 60 seconds   [0:08] on the clock and get started. Have you signed  up for Washington County's Food Scraps Pickup   [0:12] Program yet? It allows you to recycle food  scraps from home for free. Oakdale residents   [0:16] have been eligible to participate since  April, so sign up. Also, some good news,   [0:20] Oakdale hit its Year One goal of 10 percent  and it only took us 9 months! To learn more   [0:25] and to sign up, check out the link provided.  Time is ticking on the Oakdale Indoor Market.   [0:30] We only have two left! Stop by the Discovery  Center this Saturday, March 8th from 9 AM to   [0:34] 1 PM to do a little shopping and pick up some  freshly made treats. Finally, a reminder from   [0:39] the City's Environmental Management Commission  about smart salting. Before we go out and toss   [0:43] down handfuls of deicing salt on driveways and  sidewalks, some things to consider. Deicing   [0:48] salt does not work when temperatures are below  15 degrees and eventually it all runs off and   [0:52] ends up in wetlands. One teaspoon of deicing  salt permanently pollutes 5 gallons of water,   [0:57] so please consider other options like sand. That's  it, I'm out of time. Have a great week, Oakdale!
