City offices are closed today,  Monday, in observance of Memorial Day. Today   [0:14] we honor the brave members of the military who  made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.   [0:19] May their courage inspire us to live with  purpose and gratitude. City offices will   [0:23] reopen tomorrow. As flowers start to bloom and  grass fills in, consider nominating your favorite   [0:28] landscaped properties from around Oakdale for  the Acorn Award which recognizes properties   [0:33] for excellence in landscaping. Nominate as many  properties as you'd like, including your own,   [0:37] by June 30. Winning properties will receive a  visit from the City Council and will be recognized   [0:42] at a meeting this fall. To learn more and to  nominate, check out the link provided. Finally   [0:47] a reminder for residents and businesses of the  City's odd-even watering schedule. That means   [0:52] odd-numbered addresses can water on odd-numbered  days and eve- numbered addresses on even number   [0:57] days.
