The City Council held a Special Workshop on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Oakdale Public Works
Facility, 3200 Granada Avenue North, Oakdale, Minnesota. The meeting began at 2:30 PM.

## Jake Foster, Assistant City Administrator
## Andy Gitzlaff, Community Development Director
## Mikaela Huot, Finance Director
## Melanie Lee, Human Resources Director
## Nick Newton, Police Chief
## Cory Tietz, Public Works Director
## Miranda Williams, Accountant
## Kevin Wold, Fire Chief
## REVENUES FOR GENERAL FUND, SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS, GENERAL FUND OPERATING
## BUDGETS, AND INITIAL REQUESTS INCLUDING NEW POSITIONS REQUESTS
The City Council, City Administrator Chris Volkers, Assistant City Administrator Jake Foster,
Finance Director Mikaela Huot, and Accountant Miranda Williams met with Department Heads
both as a group and individually to talk about the proposed 2027 General Fund revenues and
expenditures, 2027 salary and benefit summaries, new position requests, Special Revenue
Funds, and any opportunities for one-time expenditures.
## ADJOURNMENT
The Workshop was adjourned at 7:00 PM.
