So grab some chairs and blankets and join us.  Night to Unite is just two weeks away on Tuesday,   [0:24] August . This is the City's final call to invite  Oakdale Fire, Police, and or elected officials to   [0:29] your neighborhood gathering. If you plan to  host an event and would like us to stop by,   [0:33] please register on the City website,  oakdalemn.gov, by this Friday. Finally,   [0:38] a number of residents have reached out lately  about what seems like an uptick in power outages   [0:42] as severe weather rolls through. A leading  cause of these power outages are trees near   [0:46] the above ground power lines, and keeping  everyone's lights on is a team effort.   [0:51] Xcel Energy will take care of vegetation within 10  feet of power lines, but residents are responsible   [0:55] for trees beyond that, especially when it comes  to dead and dying trees.
