[0:05] Welcome back to the Monday morning
[0:06] minute for January 12th. Let's get 60
[0:08] seconds on the clock and get started.
[0:10] First things first, an update on
[0:12] Oakdale's new public works campus.
[0:14] Construction is nearing completion after
[0:16] some weather related delays this last
[0:18] spring and summer. Once complete, city
[0:20] crews will be moving in in March, and a
[0:21] public grand opening event is slated for
[0:23] late spring 2026. We will also be
[0:25] finishing up final touches like
[0:27] landscaping this spring as weather
[0:28] allows. We are excited to open the doors
[0:30] on this new facility that will meet the
[0:32] needs of our growing city for many
[0:34] decades to come. If you'd like to
[0:35] subscribe to Project Updates, check out
[0:37] the link provided.
[0:39] Do you still have your Christmas tree
[0:40] up? If so, it's probably pretty dry and
[0:42] ready to be mulched. Public works will
[0:44] recycle it for you through January 30th.
[0:46] You can drop it off at Public Works
[0:48] Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to
[0:50] 3:30 p.m. with the exception of Martin
[0:52] Luther King Jr. Day. Please stop inside
[0:54] the public works building before
[0:55] disposing of trees to pay the $3 fee
[0:57] associated with this service. Finally,
[0:59] mother nature is keeping us on our toes
[1:01] this winter season and changing weather
[1:02] conditions are doing a number on city
[1:04] hockey rinks. Rank and warming house
[1:06] availability will fluctuate based on ice
[1:08] conditions. So, please check out the
[1:09] city website and our social media
[1:11] accounts for current rank status. That's
[1:13] it. I'm out of time. Have a great week,
[1:15] Oakdale.
