[0:05] Welcome back to the Monday Morning Minute for
February 24th! Let's get 60 seconds on the
[0:09] clock and get started. A reminder for residents
about SeeClickFix, a smartphone app that allows
[0:14] citizens to report non-emergency concerns and
issues throughout the City. Since the app went
[0:18] live in June last year, the City has resolved
more than 300 issues submitted by residents like
[0:23] repairing burned out street lights, patching
potholes, cleaning graffiti and more. We can
[0:27] do more but we need your help. Visit the Apple
App Store or Google Play Store to download the
[0:31] SeeClickFix app today. Last fall, Oakdale asked
residents to to participate in our 2024 community
[0:37] survey. We've compiled the results, and the full
report is now available on the City's website:
[0:41] oakdalemn.gov. Thank you to the 462 respondents
who provided valuable feedback on City services,
[0:47] our parks and the things that make Oakdale
a great city to call home. Finally, Oakdale
[0:52] Police has a helpful neighborhood safety tip for
anyone snowbirding or planning a spring break
[0:57] trip. Making your home look occupied when you are
gone by having someone keep up with snow removal,
[1:02] the mail, newspapers and garbage can be a
great deterrent. You can also ask the Police
[1:06] Department to check in on your home while
you're away. To request this free service,
[1:10] check out the link provided. That's it, I'm
out of time. Have a great week, Oakdale!
