Washington County will be hosting  their second-annual Back-to-School event at Walton   [0:14] Park this Thursday, August 22 from 4:30 to  6:30 PM. This event is free, and kids can get   [0:19] school supplies and a backpack, a haircut, update  their vaccinations, and more. There will also be   [0:25] entertainment and activities for the kids. A big  thank you to Washington County and all of their   [0:29] participating vendors for helping Oakdale families  start the school year off with a bang. Oakdale's   [0:34] new Public Works campus has taken some big steps  forward in recent weeks. The 9-acre parcel at 32nd   [0:40] and Granada Ave has officially been donated and  the deed transferred to the City. In addition,   [0:45] the City Council has accepted bids on most of  the project work. From here, we will officially   [0:49] break ground next month with construction  expected to take one year and a grand opening   [0:54] slated for late-fall 2025.
