[0:05] [Music] Welcome back to the Monday Morning Minute
for September 30. Let's get 60 seconds on the
[0:10] clock and get started. Our Oakdale Farmers
Market continues this Wednesday from 2 to 6
[0:14] PM in the City Hall parking lot. It is hard to
believe but there are only two Farmers Markets
[0:19] remaining for the season. Stop by to pick up all
of your fall favorites. We need some volunteers
[0:24] for the annual Scott Carver Buckthorn Removal
Project on Saturday, October 12 from 9 AM to
[0:29] Noon at the Discovery Center. This annual event
helps with the removal of buckthorn, an invasive
[0:33] species to our urban forest. Lunch will be served
at 11 AM and all ages are welcome to volunteer;
[0:38] if you're under the age of 12, we ask that you
have adult supervision. For more information and
[0:43] to sign up, check out the link provided, and
a big thank you to the Oakdale Tree Board and
[0:46] the Master Gardner Program for coordinating
this annual event. Speaking of buckthorn,
[0:51] two dates remain for Oakdale's curbside collection
of Buckthorn on Tuesdays, October 8 and October
[0:56] 22. Residents must complete a waiver by the Friday
prior to collection, which means the waiver for
[1:01] the next collection is due this Friday. Additional
details along with the online form and waiver are
[1:07] available at the link provided. That's it, I'm
out of time. Have a great week, Oakdale. [Music]
