[0:05] Welcome back to the Monday Morning Minute for
September 29. Let's get 60 seconds on the clock
[0:10] and get started. First up, hydrant flushing
will begin today and is expected to take 5
[0:14] to 6 work days to complete, weather permitting.
The flushing process may cause discolored water
[0:19] or a temporary disruption of water service. If
you have discolored water, run the cold water
[0:24] for a few minutes. Check out the link provided
for an interactive map with work zones on where
[0:28] the work will be completed. Just two days are
left to submit photos for Oakdale's annual photo
[0:34] contest. All photos must be taken in Oakdale
and the contest is open to Oakdale residents
[0:38] only. To learn more and to submit your photos by
September 30, check out the link provided. The
[0:44] pavement rehab project on Hadley Avenue from
10th Street to Hallmark Avenue continues with
[0:48] paving anticipated for this Thursday and Friday.
During this time, there may be lane closures and
[0:53] flaggers to help control traffic. Please proceed
with caution in the work zones. We want everybody
[0:57] to be safe. Finally, the next date for the City's
complimentary curbside collection of buckthorn is
[1:03] Tuesday, October 7, which means a completed
waiver must be signed by Friday, October 3.
[1:09] Check out the link provided to learn more and
to complete your waiver if you would like Public
[1:12] Works to pick up your buckthorn. That's it. I'm
out of time. Have a great week, Oakdale. [Music]
