This is an annual event and a great  opportunity to strengthen community partnerships   [0:17] and promote crime prevention awareness. Many  neighborhoods are hosting gatherings and our   [0:22] Police and Fire departments plan to stop by those  that have requested visits. Also new this year,   [0:27] for residents and neighborhoods not organizing a  Night to Unite party, come on down to Walton Park   [0:32] on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM for a Night to Unite  event hosted by Oakdale Police and Fire. Join   [0:37] City officials along with local businesses to play  games and enjoy a free hot dog cookout provided   [0:42] by the Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce. Oakdale  Recreation is excited to bring back the much-loved   [0:47] water slide at Tower Park this Friday, August 8,  from 1 to 2:30 PM. Don't miss this free chance   [0:53] to cool down and enjoy a slip-and-slide down the  big hill. We're excited to have it back. Finally,   [0:58] Oakdale's 2025 street improvement project is  now 70 percent complete and should be entirely   [1:03] completed by mid-September.
