With Thursday being  Halloween, the Oakdale Police Department wants to   [0:13] offer a few Halloween safety tips to help our  trick-or-treaters stay safe. Tips include wear   [0:18] light colored clothing, bright costumes,  or add reflective tape to dark costumes;   [0:22] walk on the sidewalks whenever possible;  and carry a flashlight or glow stick to   [0:26] stay visible. Also on Thursday, the Oakdale Fire  Department is inviting everyone to trick-or-treat   [0:31] at the South Fire Station. Firefighters will  be serving free hot dogs, handing out candy,   [0:36] and more at Fire Station 2, located at 6633 15  Street N from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. We hope to see   [0:43] you there. Once again this year, the City  is hosting a free pumpkin drop off site at   [0:48] the north end of the City Hall Parking Lot.  Starting today, running through November 12,   [0:52] place your pumpkin in the marked bin to be  composted. Pumpkins must be free of glitter,   [0:57] paint, wax and candles. See the link for more  information. Finally, as soon as the Halloween fun   [1:02] ends and November begins, winter street parking  restrictions go into effect. Beginning Friday,   [1:06] November 1 through April 1, no vehicles may park  on City streets between the hours of 12 to 5 AM   [1:12] or anytime the snow accumulation exceeds 2  inches until the street is clear of snow.   [1:17] That's it.
