[0:05] [Music] Welcome back to the Monday Morning
Minute for November 11. Let's get 60 seconds
[0:09] on the clock and get started. First off,
City offices are closed today, Monday, in
[0:14] observance of Veterans Day. We honor all military
veterans who have served in the armed forces,
[0:19] and we are deeply grateful for their service
to our country. A reminder that the pumpkin
[0:23] collection runs through tomorrow, November 12.
Drop your pumpkins in the marked bin in the City
[0:28] Hall Parking Lot (1584 Hadley Avenue North).
Oakdale residents - we want to hear from you
[0:33] to gather input on government services and the
quality of life in our community. An online
[0:37] survey will open for your feedback this Thursday,
November 14, at oakdalemn.gov. The results will
[0:44] show the City's strengths, areas of improvement,
and what matters most to our residents. Our first
[0:49] Oakdale Indoor Market of the season will be
held this Saturday, November 16, from 9 AM
[0:53] to 1 PM at the Discovery Center. Stop by to get
a jump start on your holiday shopping. Finally,
[1:00] a big thank you to our residents for their support
of the local sales tax extension. Your approval
[1:04] of both City questions will close the funding
gap for the expansion and remodel of our Police
[1:09] facility and the construction of our new Public
Works campus. On behalf of the City, thank you
[1:13] for your continued support. That's it. I'm out
of time. Have a great week, Oakdale. [Music]
