He received a 144-month prison sentence and five-year conditional release period. He also has two gross misdemeanor convictions for indecent exposure, one in Hennepin County in 2017 and another in Anoka County in 2023.
Brad Vandervet, a risk assessment specialist with the Minnesota Department of Corrections, explained that Nerra was assigned a level three risk designation while in prison and remains subject to lifetime registration requirements. Nerra is currently under local supervision for the Anoka County case, which expires in October 2025.
