Oakdale asks voters to extend sales tax for infrastructure
The Oakdale City Council is asking residents to vote on extending a half-percent local sales tax for five more years to fund two major construction projects: a new Public Works facility already under construction and an expansion of the Police Department facility.
The city has placed two ballot questions before voters in the general election asking them to approve extending the current half-percent sales tax through 2053.
