Oakdale announces spring events, transit project opening

Oakdale residents have several reasons to venture out this Saturday. The city is hosting the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit project, a public transportation initiative that will offer free rides during its first week. The opening day event begins at 10 AM at the Woodlane Park and Ride in nearby Woodbury, with a full schedule available online.
Also happening Saturday is the final Oakdale Indoor Market of the season, running from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Discovery Center. The market features local vendors and artists and marks the end of the winter market season.
Looking ahead to warmer months, the Oakdale Farmers Market will launch on June 4, with additional details to be announced soon.
