[3:44] evening is to designate a couple of

[3:46] local roadways as state aid routes Uh

[3:49] they include 45th Street from 120 to

[3:51] Granada and also Granada Avenue from

[3:53] 45th up to 50th Street It's about one

[3:56] mile of designation Uh we have about 1.2

[3:59] 2 miles available to designate due to

[4:01] all the development that's occurred in

[4:03] the community over the last several

[4:05] years primarily in Willoughbrook Um but

[4:08] it's important to designate our mileage

[4:09] as soon as we can so that we can

[4:11] maximize our allocation which is a state

[4:14] aid gas tax to the community These two

[4:17] roadways that are being recommended

[4:18] tonight were previously designated as

[4:21] state aid routes but they were removed

[4:23] so that we could designate Hadley Avenue

[4:26] uh from 120 to Highway 36 for the Hadley

[4:30] 36 interchange project in 2017 So uh

[4:34] we're just requesting that these routes

[4:36] be redesated now that we have available

[4:38] mileage With that I'd stand for any

[4:40] questions the council may have Council

[5:37] related to some inquiries that received

[5:39] we received on some properties within

[5:41] the city of Oakdale related to uh what

[5:44] the code defines as nuisent trees

[5:45] specifically because they are infected

[5:47] with the emerald dashboard So as a city

[5:50] code states our city forester went out

[5:52] and inspected those trees uh uh from his

[5:55] perspective these trees are infected and

[5:57] so we are asking for the city's

[6:00] uh approval and agreement that that

[6:03] those are infected based off of

[6:05] information that you've been provided

[6:07] through there Uh if you do agree with

[6:09] that then we would initiate a uh notice

[6:12] to the property owner that they need to

[6:13] be abated within 20 days Thank you Corey

[6:17] Um for the public at our workshop before

[6:19] this tonight council will um had a

[6:21] robust conversation on proposed changes

[6:23] to chapter 22 Um one thing we talked

[6:26] about was this section specifically and

[6:28] changes to the timeline Um the reason uh

[6:32] we had talked about tableabling this um

[6:34] one reason I I held back on that is um

[6:39] with the extended time periods that we

[6:41] decided on at workshop one of these

[6:43] properties has well exceeded that

[6:45] Anyways um the date provided to us was

[6:48] May 2024 when the complaint was first

[6:50] filed So even with the extended 45 days

[6:53] and 45day grace period that property has

[6:55] well extended that So I would support

[6:58] moving forward with that one and

[7:00] tableabling the other two if council is

[7:02] in

[7:03] support Thoughts open comments

[7:07] I think they're valid Um you have a

[7:10] valid concern about the one that's been

[7:11] on there for a year I don't know Jim

[7:13] What do we do at this point when you say

[7:15] you want to table that Um we would

[7:19] just we would just amend the list of

[7:21] properties that we are declaring a

[7:23] nuisance to only be that one Okay We

[7:25] wouldn't be tableabling anything per se

[7:27] because we're still taking action Right
