This overview will outline the purpose of the project, the advisory role of the Task Force, and how its input will inform policy direction and decision- making. Staff will also review meeting structure, member expectations, and the overall project timeline, including key milestones. ## Background: City staff will present an introduction to comprehensive planning to establish a foundational understanding of its purpose, key elements, and practical application in guiding long-term community development. This will include an overview of how comprehensive plans influence land use, infrastructure investment, housing, and service delivery.
