[0:03] I'd like people in Woodbury to know [0:05] that Hispanic Heritage Month isn't just one story, [0:08] but a celebration of many cultures, histories, [0:11] and traditions from across Latin America and the Caribbean. [0:15] Each community [0:15] has its own unique food, [0:17] music, art, and way of seeing the world. [0:20] And all those voices [0:21] come together to form what we call Hispanic Heritage. [0:24] It's my passion [0:25] to share my culture because take me always to my safe place. [0:30] I would like them to really know that representation [0:32] is such an important part of Hispanic culture, [0:34] because in some areas, Hispanic culture is not extremely [0:37] noticed and represented, and I feel like just expressing [0:41] and just being there for our community [0:42] and just showing up for people is the most important thing, [0:45] just to really come together as a family.
