Allegro Civil Engineers [9:43] has submitted an application for a conditional use permit and site and building plan for a new financial [9:50] institution to be called Huntington National Bank. The applicant is proposing to remove the existing [9:56] building at 525 Commons Drive and construct a new bank with a drive-thru [10:02] approximately 5,000 square ft in size. The property is located at the southeast [10:07] corner of Hudson Road and Commons Drive. The property is zone B2 general business [10:13] district and is guided as places to shop on the land use plan. At the May 8th, [10:18] 1991 meeting, the city council approved the existing building for farmers [10:24] insurance group site and building plan within the season's commons planned unit development. Approvals at that time [10:32] included access, parking, landscaping, and lighting. A conditional use permit [10:38] is required tonight for a bank with a drive-thru located within the B2 general [10:43] business district. City Code section 24-43 outlines the guidelines for granting a [10:50] conditional use permit which can be found within the resolution in your packet.
