[7:55] Welcome to the October 20th Planning Commission meeting. If all commissioners will please mute your microphone until
[8:01] it is your turn to speak, that would be appreciated. Members of the public may may join using a PC, Mac, or iPad,
[8:09] iPhone, or Android device. And members of the public can access the meeting online at the city's website. And public
[8:14] can ask questions and comments during the meeting by using the link to the virtual meeting to join and submitting
[8:20] the questions via the online question answer feature within the meeting. Questions regarding this meeting can
[8:26] also be asked during regular business hours at city hall. And with that, we will call the meeting to order. If you
[8:33] are a member of the public and wish to speak on a topic, please fill out one of the yellow forms at the back of the

[9:21] item on the agenda this evening is the Huntington National Bank conditional use
[9:27] permit and site and building plan project number 04-2025-0000584
[9:36] and the staff member presenting this report will be to you Gina back to you. Thank you chair. Allegro Civil Engineers
[9:43] has submitted an application for a conditional use permit and site and building plan for a new financial
[9:50] institution to be called Huntington National Bank. The applicant is proposing to remove the existing
[9:56] building at 525 Commons Drive and construct a new bank with a drive-thru
[10:02] approximately 5,000 square ft in size. The property is located at the southeast
[10:07] corner of Hudson Road and Commons Drive. The property is zone B2 general business
[10:13] district and is guided as places to shop on the land use plan. At the May 8th,
[10:18] 1991 meeting, the city council approved the existing building for farmers
[10:24] insurance group site and building plan within the season's commons planned unit development. Approvals at that time
[10:32] included access, parking, landscaping, and lighting. A conditional use permit
[10:38] is required tonight for a bank with a drive-thru located within the B2 general
[10:43] business district. City Code section 24-43 outlines the guidelines for granting a
[10:50] conditional use permit which can be found within the resolution in your packet.
