[4:06] Good evening. Welcome to the city of Woodbury for city council meeting. Today it is August 13th, 2025. It is 7:30 p.m.
[4:13] We are here in council chambers. This meeting is also taking place virtually. Uh it's good to see some people in our
[4:19] audience. If you're having so much fun watching this in person, feel free to click check in anytime um remotely. You
[4:26] can watch from home. Um for members of the public, just find the agenda online. Click into the green button and you join
[4:32] us virtually through a variety of computer things and phones and all kinds
[4:38] of stuff. Um okay. As is our norm, would you please stand and join me in the pledge of allegiance?
[4:44] I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the
[4:49] republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and
[4:55] justice for all. I did fail to mention too, we always record these meetings. They are streamed live as well through True Lens Media.
[5:02] So, we're always happy to have them partic
[5:11] here. Council member Santini here. Council member Stafford here, Council Member Wilson here, Mayor Bert
[5:17] here. We are all here tonight, so we're able to conduct tonight's business. Uh the first special order business, we
[5:23] just just came from a closed session. Kevin Sandstrom, our city attorney, will give a brief update on what occurred
[5:28] during that close session. Thank you, Madame Mayor, members of the council. Just to um summarize the close
[5:34] session we just had at your workshop, there was a close session pursuant to statute 13D.05, 05 subdivision 3D which
[5:42] relates to a closed session on sensitive security protocols, security briefings or emergency response procedures.
[5:49] Tonight's uh uh closed meeting of the city council related to physical safety and security protocols uh in place and
[5:56] presented by the public safety department particularly your public safety director Jason Posel and your
[6:02] emergency services coordinator Kira Steedman. And the issue was safety and
[6:08] security protocols for elected officials both at city hall and out at uh public events.
[6:14] Terrific. Thank you. Um okay, we'll now move on to our open forum. I do have one green sheet for the open forum tonight.
[6:20] So because of that, I'll read the uh introductory paragraph. Um this is the portion of the meeting where a maximum
[6:25] of three personal persons will be allowed to address the council on subjects which are not part of the
[6:30] meeting agenda. So are you Michelle? Okay. So, I'll call you up in just a minute, but you've got something that's
[6:35] not on our agenda. Is that right? And then because we have three up to three people, you're the only green sheet, but
[6:40] I always check in to see if anyone virtually as well. So, I'll check in with Ashley shortly. Um, so you fill out
[6:46] a green sheet, which you've done. Thank you. Um, when you come up, just provide your name…
