[2:18] to guide the education of our
[2:19] community's children as you recite the
[2:22] oath of office you assume a tremendous
[2:24] responsibility as a director of our
[2:26] school district with the duties
[2:27] empowered by the Minnesota Legislature
[2:30] this power puts you and the other
[2:32] members of our school board in the
[2:33] position of being both morally and
[2:35] legally responsible for Equitable
[2:38] quality education of every student in
[2:40] The District in carrying out this
[2:42] responsibility you'll be asked to
[2:44] fulfill the roles of vision structure
[2:47] accountability and advocacy in providing
[2:50] Vision the board with extensive
[2:52] participation of the community envisions
[2:54] the community's educational future and
[2:56] then formulates the goals defines the
[2:58] outcomes and sets the course for the
[3:00] public schools to achieve the vision the
[3:02] board establishes a structure and
[3:04] creates an environment designed to
[3:05] ensure all students the opportunity to
[3:08] attain their maximal maximum potential
[3:10] through a sound organizational framework
[3:13] because as a board we must be
[3:14] accountable to the community we must
[3:16] ensure a continuous assessment of
[3:18] student achievement and all conditions
[3:20] affecting the education of our children
[3:23] as board members we serve as education's
[3:26] key Advocates on behalf of students and
[3:28] our community schools to advance the
[3:30] vision for our schools furthermore we
[3:33] must strive to work together and with
[3:35] the in with the superintendent and staff
[3:38] to lead the district forward toward
[3:40] fulfilling the vision we have created
[3:42] fostering Excellence for every student
[3:44] in the areas of academic skills and
[3:46] knowledge citizenship and personal
[3:49] development having signed the acceptance
[3:51] of office and oath of office will you
[3:55] please publicly affirm your commitment
[3:57] by repeating the oath of office after
[4:01] me um and should I read the entire let's

[9:18] work sessions in October November and
[9:20] December board members informally agreed

[13:23] resolution be requested a number has
[13:26] been assigned to each resolution
[13:30] um does does anybody want to pull
[13:32] anything out to
[13:35] discuss okay um the full resolution is
[13:39] listed out in board book so if any you
[13:41] know folks are interested they can take
[13:43] a look at that um seeing as there is no
[13:47] discussion um and read the resolution uh
[13:50] be resolved by the school board of
[13:51] Independent School District number 622
[13:54] that the following organiz
[13:55] organizational resolutions numbered 1
[13:58] through 19 be accepted as presented
