[0:04] The mobile [0:04] on-site recreation experience aka M.O.R.E. is a mobile [0:08] based recreation program [0:10] that will be traveling around the city of Woodbury, [0:13] bringing recreation activities to the community. [0:18] We created this program to reach participants [0:20] who maybe haven't participated in our programs before, [0:23] due to financial barriers or transportation barriers, [0:27] or not knowing that our programs existed. [0:29] So by taking a mobile approach, [0:31] we're able to bring our programing out [0:32] into the community and create neighborhood pride and use [0:36] underused spaces that maybe haven't seen programs before. [0:41] So the pilot program [0:41] is currently only four weeks at six different locations [0:45] around the city. [0:46] We are going to be there for an hour and a half each day. [0:49] Each park once a week, [0:50] but we are hoping to grow the program [0:52] to more parks and more locations [0:53] throughout the next upcoming years. [0:56] Kids can just show up and it's an open house style [0:59] where they are able to come and play for as long as they want [1:03] and choose what they want to do. [1:04] But we also have set structure. [1:05] This program offers different sports [1:07] activities and arts and crafts as well as yard games, [1:11] giant yard games, we’ll bring different [1:12] obstacle courses as well to different programs [1:15] as well as like soccer nets and basketballs. [1:17] Different programs for different recreational opportunities. [1:21] We offer our [1:22] programs for ages 5 to 16 year old children. [1:25] This is a free program to the community. [1:27] I feel this program [1:28] will bring lots of opportunity for community engagement, [1:32] friendships, meeting new residents, [1:35] and then also introducing Woodbury recreation programs [1:39] to participants that maybe haven't [1:40] participated in our activities before, [1:42] so that we can continue to create a sense of community [1:46] within our recreation activities.
